New Clients:
New clients are required to complete our Health History Form prior to their arrival, as outlined in the confirmation email. Failure to complete the form in advance may require it to be filled out before the start of the treatment, potentially reducing the duration of the scheduled session.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy:
As an independent practitioner, my time is dedicated to each individual client, and last-minute cancellations directly affect my ability to serve others.
We understand that life can be unpredictable, especially during pregnancy. We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will be charged the full appointment fee. If you can find someone to fill your spot, the fee will be waived.
You'll receive a reminder via email three days before your appointment, and a text reminder two hours prior. Please ensure your notification settings are enabled in your account.
You can reschedule or cancel through the links provided in your confirmation and reminder emails.
Late Arrival Policy:
Please arrive on time so we can maximize your session. If you are late, the session will proceed as scheduled, but the fee remains unchanged. Arriving more than 30 minutes late will be treated as a no-show, and the full session fee will apply.
Payment Policy:
I accept e-transfer, cash, or credit card payments through Square. E-transfer is preferred.
Payment is required at the end of your session. Once paid, you will receive a receipt to submit to your Extended Health Care Insurance provider. I do not offer direct billing. Any outstanding payment must be settled before future appointments can be booked.
Privacy Policy:
As a registered health professional, I am required to obtain a detailed health history form prior to your first session. This information must be updated yearly or whenever your health changes. Your information is stored securely and will only be shared with your explicit written consent or as required by law.
Appointment Timing:
Please arrive five minutes before your scheduled time. If you are more than 10 minutes early, kindly wait as I may be finishing with another client.
Your appointment duration includes time for intake, discussion, assessment /reassessment(if needed), treatment, and post-session recommendations. For new clients, I recommend booking at least 60 minutes, as the intake process typically takes 5-10 minutes.
Service Refusal Policy:
Services may be declined under the following circumstances:
Please do not attend your appointment if you are unwell, even if you’ve tested negative for COVID-19. Symptoms such as runny nose, sore throat, coughing, fever, or nausea suggest it may be best to reschedule. If you’ve been exposed to illness, wearing a mask is recommended. When in doubt, contact me to discuss your symptoms.
Any client exhibiting the above behaviours or conditions will be denied service, and the full appointment fee will apply.
